Nuru comic books series commenced from 2000 as three 48 page volumes, the amazing reception its comic books earned extended the volumes to six (three more volumes). In 2004, Nuru comic strips appeared on monthly basis in The Supa Strika and The Insyder magazines. Nuru still goes on as a comic strip in the Young African Express. Arrangements to get it animated for TV is on and you can view online Nuru episodes intro and a football scene from episode 1
