He earns his livelihood by driving. He is the driver of "Groovy" matatu. He is Belzo's closest friend and because of his no-nonsense attitude, he always stands up for Belzo when he needs his help - but it is the same attitude that sometimes causes him to disagree with Belzo on some issues.
Like Belzo, he loves music and their matatu attracts a lot of teen passengers because it blares the latest music tracks loudly. The traffic police do not fancy Groovy's way of attracting passengers. Groovy's popularity is also is a threat to other matatus of route 23. They are further hated for that. Belki enjoys eating - especially ugali and nyama choma.
